Fans of beer and music get ready to scream for Alesana on the Trilogy Tour: Part II coming to downtown Fresno on November 14. Alesana will be performing their 2011 release A Place Where the Sun is Silent from front to back.

Full Circle Brewing will also be hosting other bands Limbs, Vampires Everywhere, Across the White Water Tower, Running With Scissors, Beheading of the Queen, Cloud Construction, and Dissident from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

“We’ve been playing this Dante’s Inferno inspired album in its entirety this year on Part 2 of our Trilogy Tour…” said Alesana on their instagram. “Come see us play A Place Where the Sun is Silent along with some of your other favorites.”

Alesana is a band originating from North Carolina, which has been described as a mix of metalcore and post-hardcore, or a genre many call “sweetcore.” They look to theater and film as inspiration for their music, and as for Annabel, a reoccurring character in their music, they cite the poet Edgar Allan Poe.

Dissident is a metal band opening for Alesana, and they are also one of Fresno’s very own. They currently have one EP titled Cycles out, which you can stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube.

“Coming to the show is a great opportunity to try something new if you’ve never been to a show or maybe this type of music,” said the drummer Aaron Garcia.

This event is open to all ages and the tickets start at $25 but will go up to $30 on the day of the show. Tickets are available at both Ragin’ Records locations, Full Circle Brewery District, and Phatmanz Alley as well as online at Eventbrite. For more information about this event click here.
